How we check every page
Nothing is published until two independent reviews have been settled against the sources and every number has been recomputed.
About- Written from sources. Each lecture starts as a full document citing the specifications, textbooks and papers it teaches from.
- Every number computed. Each numerical answer on a page comes from a short script kept with the lecture, and the site will not build if a stated answer differs from it.
- Two independent reviews. Claude (Anthropic) and ChatGPT (OpenAI) each review the page separately, given the page and its sources but not each other's view. Both check every factual claim against a cited source, every equation and derivation, every answer, the level against the specification, the misconceptions and the English.
- Every finding settled by evidence. Each point either reviewer raises is settled by a quote from a source or by a calculation, and the page is corrected. Where the reviewers disagree, the evidence decides, and the review record says so.
- A lecturer's check, when done. A university lecturer in the subject checks the lecture; the page shows when, and until then says the check is pending.
- Checked again when it changes. A review covers one version of a page. Any change is reviewed again before it goes up, and corrections are listed on the page.
What the labels mean
- Checked by two AI reviewers against cited sources
- Both reviews are done, every finding is settled, and every number has been recomputed.
- Lecturer reviewed
- A university lecturer in the subject has checked it (named only if they agree).
- Lecturer review pending
- No person has checked it yet.
- Corrected
- Something was fixed after publication; the page's record says what and when.
What we do not claim
“Peer reviewed” means review by independent experts, usually for a journal, and none of this is that; we never use the phrase for our own pages. AI reviewers can miss things, which is why the sources are listed for you to check and why corrections are welcome.
