Privacy
No accounts, no tracking, no adverts. Many of our readers are 16 or 17, so the whole site follows the UK Children's Code for everyone.
- No cookies and no analytics or tracking scripts, from us or anyone else.
- Search runs on your device. What you type is never sent anywhere.
- Videos load from YouTube only when you press play. Until then the page shows our own picture and nothing is requested from YouTube. Once you press play, the video comes from YouTube's privacy-enhanced player (youtube-nocookie.com) and YouTube's privacy policy applies to it. Links marked “Watch on YouTube” take you to YouTube itself.
- Fonts and pictures are served from this site, not from other companies.
- What the hosting logs: the site is served by Cloudflare, which processes each request (including your IP address) to deliver the page and protect the site, and keeps counts of requests that we can see in total but not per person.
- If you email us a correction, we use your email only to reply and to fix the page.
